After obtaining her degrees and completing her internships, Sarah established Pneuma Counseling in 2015 where she has continued to learn and practice both Biblical and neuro-scientific approaches to mental healing.Sarah relocated to Mandeville in 2020 to continue her work in her hometown.
Because of her love for both Scripture and Mental Health, Sarah is passionate about synthesizing clinical and Biblical language to equip ministry leaders to see trauma through a Biblical lens.
Her unique practice is one of the only mental health centers to practice advanced neuroscientific approaches to healing that are based not only in Biblical truths, but also an understanding of God’s own design of the body/brain to heal. In her spare time, Sarah studies Theology and writes studies that marry clinical and Biblical observations.

With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, Cristen brings empathy, integrity, and a calming presence to her clinical practice. Cristen views each client’s healing journey as sacred and works to empower them to take steps toward greater self-awareness, personal growth, and lasting inner peace.

Julia Gaddie is a warm and engaging counselor dedicated to excellent, trauma-informed care for children, teenagers, and adults in the Mandeville and Northshore area. She is specially trained in EMDR, Child & Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) — proven, brain-smart approaches for helping children, teens, and adults heal. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling (Clinical Mental Health Specialization) from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana.
She supports clients by using EMDR to process distressing memories and the negative beliefs that may be keeping them stuck. Through this approach, many clients find that painful experiences feel less overwhelming, allowing them to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and peace.
She also utilizes play therapy and Sand Tray techniques to help children and adolescents process difficult experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop a greater sense of safety and confidence. Play provides a natural, developmentally-appropriate way for younger clients to express themselves, process their story, and achieve their therapeutic goals.
Additionally, upon client request, she is equipped to address concerns related to Christianity, including spiritual abuse, faith in light of anxiety, hope in light of depression, ministry life, or a variety of other spiritual concerns.

Darrell Myles is a New Orleans native and a current resident of the Covington area with a deep calling to serve individuals and families through clinical excellence and spiritual integration. Darrel has over 120 hours of formal EMDR (eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing) training and incorporates that into his treatment plans.
A former collegiate athlete and mentor, Darrell understands the value of discipline, leadership, and the power of being truly understood in one’s journey toward healing.
Darrell believes that meaningful change occurs when individuals feel respected and empowered to explore their experiences without judgment. His clinical approach is rooted in the belief that “brain-based” modalities can reach the root of issues often inaccessible through talk therapy alone. To that end, he is currently engaged in ongoing training to administer EMDR and offers Neurofeedback as part of Pneuma’s trauma-informed care.
In his practice, Darrell prioritizes:
Curiosity over assumptions to truly understand each client’s unique story.
Depth over surface solutions to foster long-term resilience.
Authentic progress that aligns with who a person truly is, rather than who they feel they are “supposed” to be.
Drawing from Family Systems, Trauma-Focused, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Darrell helps adolescents, adults, and families clarify patterns and develop practical, forward-moving strategies for change. His work blends clinical insight with a mature faith in Christ, providing a grounded and compassionate space for those navigating life’s most difficult transitions.
